While specific details such as clock speeds remain undisclosed, it is widely believed that the RTX 4070 SUPER will incorporate the AD104 GPU, featuring 7168 CUDA cores. The memory configuration is expected to mirror the original model, maintaining a 12GB capacity. Notably, this card is rumored to demand a higher power consumption compared to the RTX 4070, with an alleged default TDP of 225W.
The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER will shift to AD103 GPU and introduce 16GB memory capacity. It will retain 285W TDP of the RTX 4070 Ti model, but on paper this might be one of the most interesting cards from the upcoming SUPER series.
The fastest model, called RTX 4080 SUPER will utilize full AD103 GPU with 10240 CUDA cores, and it will retain 16GB memory spec and 320W TDP of the still available RTX 4080 model. While RTX 4080 SUPER and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER are said to be replacing existing SKUs, the RTX 4070 SUPER would coexist on the market with RTX 4070, claimed earlier reports.
There have been speculations indicating that all RTX 40 SUPER models will adopt 12VHPWR connectors, with no intention to utilize standard 8-pin connectors for these cards. The uncertainty lies in whether NVIDIA will produce its own Founder Edition, as this detail is yet to be officially confirmed.
